Cycle Gear

SPD Clips

SPD is the most common cleat system used for indoor cycling. However, cycling shoes are typically sold without cleats, since different pedal systems require different types of cleats to suit individual preferences.

To install SPD cleats, you’ll need a 4 mm Allen wrench.

Padded Gel Seat

Cycle seats can be uncomfortable, especially during longer rides. This cushioned seat cover adds extra padding and can be quickly put on before class starts—offering much-needed relief for a sore bum!

4 MM Allen Wrench

This wrench is used to attach the SPD clips to your cycle shoes.

Tiem Lynx

Designed specifically for women, these shoes offer a slightly snugger fit than the Slipstreams, have soles approximately 0.25 inches (6.35 mm) taller, and are fully compatible with SPD cleats.

They’re not available on Amazon, but the link above will take you directly to the Tiem website, where you can check out the Lynx model.

TIEM Slipstream

Available for both men and women, the Tiem Slipstream cycling shoes are SPD-compatible and feature a slightly roomier fit compared to the Lynx model. Their soles are also about 0.25 inches (6.35 mm) shorter.

You can save $5 by ordering through the link to Tiem, or find them on Amazon as well.

SHIMANO Cycle Shoes

Available in both black and plum, these shoes blend the comfort and grip of a hiking shoe with the functionality of a cycling shoe. They’re designed for off-bike comfort while still performing well during rides.

The sole is slightly stiffer than the TIEM Slipstream and Lynx models—providing improved power transfer to the pedals—yet more flexible than Shimano’s mountain biking shoes for easier walking.

SHIMANO Mountain Biking Shoes

Available in olive or black, these shoes offer the stiffest soles of the three options, delivering maximum power transfer to the pedals. They also feature a BOA® lacing system for a secure, customizable fit every time you ride.

Bike Phone Mount

This mount securely clips your phone to the handlebars of your spin bike, keeping it in place and preventing it from flying off during class.

Tablet Holder

This mount supports tablets ranging from 4.9 inches (12.4 cm) to 12.9 inches (32.7 cm) and can be attached to any round surface, such as a spin bike or treadmill.

Eargasm Ear Plugs

These clear earplugs provide 21 decibels of noise reduction and also come in fun colors like rainbow, pink, gold, glow-in-the-dark—and even a light-up version.

Bike Trainer Mat

Adam and I both use this mat to protect our floors and catch the sweat from our rides. It’s available in two sizes—30″ x 71″ and 30″ x 60″—and we have the 60″ version.

Supplements

Mango Electrolytes

Electrolytes are essential for recovery after every workout, helping to replenish your body and muscles with vital minerals for faster healing. Salud’s mango-flavored electrolytes are some of the best I’ve tried—not just for their effectiveness, but also for their delicious taste. Plus, the convenient single-serving packets make it easy to toss one in your bag and take on the go.

Horchata Electrolytes

These have all the same great benefits as the mango electrolytes, but with a creamy, sweet horchata flavor—think of the classic milk-based drink with a hint of cinnamon.

PaleoPro Grass-Fed Protein

I’m absolutely obsessed with Life Time’s Strawberry Cream Protein Powder—it’s seriously delicious! But I also like to include organ meats in my diet, and I was honestly surprised that I couldn’t taste any of the organ flavor in this powder. (If you’ve ever eaten liver, you know what I mean!) It’s a fantastic option for anyone following Paleo, Keto, or dairy-free diets.

Strawberry Cream Protein

I currently have four jugs of the Strawberry Cream protein powder in my pantry because it’s a seasonal product—and hopefully, Life Time gets the memo that this needs to be a permanent staple in their lineup! And yes, while I am a Life Time employee, I’m not sharing this to make cash—I genuinely love this protein powder (just ask Adam about all those extra jugs, lol). It has an amazing flavor and isn’t chalky at all. Plus, you don’t need to be a Life Time member to buy it. I’ve also heard great things about the vegan version, though I’ll admit I haven’t tried it myself.

Sports Research L-Glutamine

Taking L-glutamine after a workout supports muscle recovery by replenishing glycogen stores, repairing muscle tissue, boosting immune system recovery, and maintaining gut lining health.

It comes as a flavorless, odorless powder—making it easy to mix into post-workout shakes or hydration drinks.

LTH Repair L-Glutamine

Taking L-glutamine after a workout supports muscle recovery by replenishing your body’s glycogen stores, repairing muscle tissue, boosting immune system recovery, and maintaining the integrity of your gut lining.

It comes as a flavorless, odorless powder, making it easy to add to post-workout shakes or hydration drinks.

Creatine for Muscle Growth

Creatine is a supplement for muscle health and performance. It increases muscle energy stores, boosting energy and allowing you to train harder and longer. This promotes greater strength and muscle gains over time.

Rise Whey Protein Bars

I used to eat Quest bars—until I looked at the ingredient list and saw more than a dozen things I didn’t want in my body. Rise Whey Protein Bars, on the other hand, have just three to five simple ingredients—all of which I can pronounce and actually understand.

LMNT Zero Sugar Hot Chocolate

OMG, these are so good! When we sweat, we lose potassium, magnesium, calcium—and sodium. People often forget about sodium, but it’s a crucial mineral that helps muscles contract and relax. LMNT contains 1000 mg of sodium to help replenish what you lose in sweat, along with potassium and magnesium—without tasting salty.

LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes

If you’ve never tried LMNT before, this variety pack is a great place to start. It includes eight different flavors—our favorites are Chocolate Salt, Mango Chili, Watermelon Salt, Raspberry Salt, and Raw Unflavored (perfect for mixing with other flavors or protein shakes). We use LMNT for both cycling and hiking.

Lifestyle Gear

Women’s Padded Sports Bra

Lulu vibes without the Lulu price! This tank top is a great dupe for Lululemon’s Align tank—plus, it comes in so many cute colors. I’ve got mine in Magenta, and I love it!

Skincare and Healthcare

UNBLEMISH Regimen

Let’s be real—sometimes sweating a lot can cause acne. This is my go-to skincare line to reduce and clear up breakouts while keeping my skin looking youthful 😉 This set has everything you need to fight acne all day long. And the sunscreen? Total game changer—clear, unscented, and amazing!

Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex

I don’t drink caffeine or energy drinks… the only thing that can keep me looking “awake-ish” at 5:30am for class is this eye cream. Definitely keeps my puffy under-eyes in a less puffy state. I mean, you’ve seen what I look like 😉

Face + Body Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50

We live in Colorado—about a mile closer to the sun than most of the U.S.—so taking care of your skin is a must. This is my go-to sunscreen whenever I’m outdoors.

Lip Shield SPF 25

Speaking of the outdoors… have you ever dealt with windburn or sunburn on your lips? Yeah, it’s no fun, amiright? Make sure to take good care of them!

ColorCare Clarifying Shampoo

I switched away from grocery store hair products a long time ago—on the advice of my hairstylist. Cheap, harsh ingredients were basically washing away all the money I spent on professional hair care. Now, I mainly use L’anza shampoo and conditioner after a long day to wash out oils, sweat, and hairspray. Plus, I love that a little goes a long way with these products!

ColorCare Color Preserving Conditioner

If you’ve got pink-dyed hair liked me (or any vibrant color!), this conditioner is your new best friend. It’s designed to lock in color, protect against fading, and keep your hair soft, hydrated, and shiny. I use this to help my pink stay bold and bright between salon visits—because what’s the point of fun hair if it washes out after a week?

Healing ColorCare Trauma Treatment

I use tons of hair products but I don’t want to bombard you. This trauma treatment is a very versatile product. I have curly hair. I use this to style my curls as a leave-in product that stays in my hair as it air-dries or as a protectant when I apply heat to my hair to straighten it. I just love it. Smells nice too.
